5 Things To Do This Easter Weekend
Just like Christmas, Easter always seems to come around so quickly every year. We all know that Easter is the time for yummy chocolate treats and making the most of the easter bank holiday weekend that means four days off for most of us. It's a great time of the year to make the most of the celebrations and also catch up on anything you need to. Here are 5 things you can do this Easter weekend:

Bake some tasty easter treats

Easter is the perfect excuse to throw on that baking apron and cook up some tasty Easter inspired treats. Chocolate themed bakes are an obvious choice to go for this holiday celebration, but there are so many other ideas out there on places like Pinterest. A classic go to could be chocolate wheat inspired nests that are super easy to create and make for the tastiest little snacks. Other things you could do are some biscuits in the shape of Easter related things like little chicks, bunnies and eggs. You could spend a whole afternoon baking some tasty treats for you and your loved ones to enjoy.

Go on an easter egg hunt

Release your inner child and partake in an easter egg hunt. There might be a local event in your area that is hosting an easter egg hunt for all the family to get involved with or you could just as easily do your own for your family back at home. If you have younger children in the family or know people who are really competitive, then this could be a great option for you to throw a really fun competition with an additional prize at the end for Easter.

If nice weather, go on a Spring picnic

I'm super excited for picnic season. There's just something about being able to eat outside that makes me so content. If it's a nice day (which will probably be rare in the U.K), pack up some food goodies, some outdoors games and get to your favourite outdoor space to throw a picnic. It's a great way to get everyone outside, making the most of the spring weather and celebrating Easter in a cute way.

Do a spring clean

If you don't fancy doing too much over the Easter weekend and would rather catch up inside, then having a spring clean can be a brilliant way to be productive this weekend. You could clear out and tidy up your wardrobe, your makeup, any storage etc. Because it's a four day weekend, you'll have plenty of time to do it and can even fit in some down time too. It's a win win situation. Spring is the perfect opportunity to get everything neat and fresh ready for the new season ahead. It's also a great way to get motivated to take on the next few weeks.

Up your self care

Amongst the plans you might be starting to put in place for the weekend, remember yourself and that you also need taking care of too. With four days away from your usual busy schedule, it can be a great chance to rest up and catch up on any sleep you have missed lately. Who doesn't love a lay in every once in a while? You could also sit down to catch up on any TV show's you've missed, do some journalling to reflect and gather your thoughts, indulge in easter treats, snuggle up on the sofa with your loved ones and favourite pet, pamper yourself or have some quiet time with a book in your favourite spot on the face. It is also the perfect excuse to treat yourself!

What are your plans for Easter weekend?
