I've always been a lover of reading and I'm always on the hunt for new books to read as soon as I've finished reading one. Reading is such a relaxing thing to do. It really helps you to just escape from reality for a while. The main types of books that I enjoy reading are anything from romance dramas and mysteries to autobiographies of some of my favourite celebrities. I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of the book's that I've recently read and completed over the past few months.

I was quite sceptical about reading this book at first since it touches on sensitive topics like depression, suicidal thoughts and suicide. However once I got into, I found it was such an interesting novel to read. I believe the plot really does surprise you. You think it's going to be on those girly chick type of books, where boy saves girl and girl saves boy. But reality is, that it is far from the truth. It is a really touching book. I think this book helps you to understand depression and suicide from the suffers from point of view, as well as how it affects the people around them. It also sends a really strong message, particularly if you're suffering yourself. A really great read for anyone who needs to find the bright places in their own life!

I've been a fan of Zoella for a few years now, back in the days when Youtube was only then getting bigger and bigger. When she announced her first book 'Girl Online', I was intrigued to read it and surprisingly found it to be quite a good read despite how I felt it was aimed at more younger readers. Therefore, I decided to have a read of her second book in the Girl Online series, Girl Online On Tour. This book is the perfect pre-teen/teen read. It touches on all elements of what a girl goes through during this stage of life with friend drama, falling in love, managing school and figuring out what you want to do in life. Although there's one big dream element in it with the whole rock star boyfriend. However one thing in particular I like about this book and what Zoe had touched on is anxiety. I believe this is such an important step in the right direction of changing that stigma and making people more aware of mental health, particularly younger readers of this book. It's something I've never read about in a young adult book. The Girl Online series, is perfect for anyone after a light hearted read and for pre-teen's to get engrossed in!

This is definitely one of my favourite books ever! It's such a good read. I've always thought Caroline comes across as being a really funny yet a down to earth individual. This definitely portrays through out this autobiography of her life. I always find reading about other people's lives really interesting (purely because I'm nosey but still haha). It's so intriguing to find out little details of their life, from where they grew up, what inspired them to head in the career direction they went in, little secrets that you never hear about and the feelings that the particular person felt during a certain situation in their life. Caroline actually comes from near where I live, so it was nice to read about places that I had been to. Storm In A C Cup is such a good read and one that I have found hard to put down. I read it so quickly. It's such an inspiring piece too. You really get to understand how hard it was for her to reach the position of her career she is in now, all whilst dealing with the press string up rumours regarding her relationships and online trolls bullying her. But never once did she give up on making her dreams come true!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them?
