Miss Sporty Insta Glow Blush - Glowing Mauve

I haven't tried anything from Miss Sporty in so many years. It was one of the first brand's I tried when I first got into make-up in the first two years of high school, mainly due to the affordability of the products. As my love towards make-up grew, I ventured out into trying more brands from the drug store and high end counters. However I seem to have gone backwards and after reading some positive things about Miss Sporty's recently new range 'Insta Glow', I thought I'd pick up one one of their blushes to try.

The blushes in the range retail at only £2.99!!! These are so affordable and great for anyone who's on a budget. The packaging of these blushes are simple yet quite cute. They're a great size, very travel friendly and great for popping in your bag for any touch ups later on in the day.  The blushes are a powder formula, which is the kind of formula I prefer when it comes to blushes. I'm not a massive fan of cream blushes, as I struggle to apply them properly.

Due to the name 'Insta Glow', the finish of these blushes are quite shimmery as opposed to a matte finish. They do contain a slight glitter element to them, which is expected with a shimmer texture, but instead of looking like you have glitter all over your cheeks, they instead give you a healthy fresh glow with a pop of colour. Therefore, these are perfect for the next few months with the spring/summer season now among us.

The shade I picked up from the range is called 'Glowing Mauve'. This could be described as being a vibrant rosy pink colour. On the cheek's it creates such a pretty flush look to the skin. It fits perfectly with the whole glowing theme in the range. You literally do look like you're glowing and it makes you look so healthy. One of the main things I love about this blush is how pigmented it is on the skin. I was so shocked at how good the quality of it was for a super affordable drug store brand. Even just by swatching it with my finger, there was such a good amount of powder come off the product and the colour pay off was so good. Because of this, you really don't need to use a lot of the product when applying this onto the cheeks. Therefore, you won't be going through this product very quickly and mean's it's great value for money.

In terms of stay power, I would say that they last for around 3-4 hours, which in my opinion isn't bad at all for a drug store brand. I notice my finishing products (like blush, highlight, bronzer) tend to fade off my face first, so I'm not surprised that this blush doesn't last all day. But I have no problems topping this up during the day if need be. But I think for the start of the day, this is a great little blush to pop on your cheeks and give yourself a bit of colour.

Overall, I'm really happy that I purchased this blush. It's very affordable, has great pigmentation and it's a gorgeous colour that creates a healthy glow to the skin. I will be reaching for this blush over the next few months during the rest of Spring and the start of summer. I really want to try more of the blushes from the Glowing Range from Miss Sporty. I'm highly impressed with the product they have produced!!!!

What do you think of this blush? Have you tried anything from Miss Sporty? Would you want to try some products from their range?
