5 Essential Beauty Tools
16:30
There's a range of different beauty tools to chose from to help you solve a beauty mishap or achieve a greater application when it comes to applying your make-up. Because of this wide selection, it's always a great idea to make sure you have the essentials and to not get too overwhelmed by too many products for different things. Here's my 5 essential beauty tools that I believe everyone need's...
Make-up brushes - Make-up brushes make a huge difference in how you apply and how your finished make-up will appear on your face. It is essential that you have the basic brushes in your collection to help you achieve the best results. My advice is to make sure you own at least a foundation brush, a concealer brush, an eye-shadow blending brush and a blush brush. These brushes can also work for multi use, so if you are tight on money, you can easily use these brushes for other uses in your make-up routine too. My favourite brushes have to be Real Techniques without a doubt! Both good quality and affordable.
A beauty blender - My make-up application was made ten times easier and flawless looking with the use of a beauty blender. Of course, you can quite easily use a foundation brush to blend your foundation in. But the beauty blender works wonders on creating that natural, even and flawless finish. I believe this is an essential beauty tool to have if you really want to up the look of your base make-up. Another great multi use tool that you can use to blend any liquid or cream based products.
Nail scissors - Seem's an obvious one, but nail scissors are a necessity. Even if you don't have the longest nails or find it hard to grow them, no doubt you'll still need nail scissors at some point and it's always good to have them on hand if you do. Plus it's not just your finger nails you need to take into consideration, it's also your toes and they from time to time also need a good chopping. Alternatively, keep a nail file on hand for on the go or for quickness and ease.
Eyelash curlers - It wasn't until a couple of years back when I started using eyelash curlers. For me, they do make a difference in how my lashes work with a mascara. They give a nice curl and open them up more, which then makes the mascara application more easier to apply and see the finished results. A great tip is to warm your eyelash curlers up with a hair dryer before use to maximize the curl!!!
Tweezers - Tweezers are handy for so many different things. Personally, I like to use them to pluck my eyebrows back into shape or get rid of any stray hairs that might be lingering around looking out of place. There's so many different style of tweezers you can go for, such as slanted, pointed or straight. It's up to you and what you find easiest to use, as well as what does the best job. But they're always great to have around the place, whether that's in your bag when you're on the go, in your make-up draws at home or you take them with you when you go on a trip away.
