Now Autumn has truly arrived, it was about time I showcased some of the on trend and new season jackets. Whatever the weather, there's a jacket out there to suit you and your style. Whether you're go to look is rock chic inspired, perhaps you love a sporty-luxe vibe to your outfits or maybe you're going for a completely new look come this new season, take a look at some of my top pick jackets for the Autumn season for all the latest inspiration for your go to outerwear piece.
The Suede Jacket -
Suede jacket's are probably one of my favourite jackets of the current times. On trend the past couple of seasons, this textured jacket isn't going anywhere anytime soon. From dusky pink hues and retro mustard, edgy biker inspired or cosy faux fur touches, the suede jacket is a must have for anyone. This piece is a great light cover up for this season, paired with your favourite basic t-shirt, a pair of distressed jeans and heeled ankle boots during the day, whilst at night hook it over your shoulders over a little black dress. The go to places to shop the Suede jack include MissGuided, ASOS and River Island.

The Bomber Jacket:
The jacket I always compare to marmite, you either love it or you hate it! The bomber jacket has been a huge hit over the spring/summer months and once again it's staying around for the colder months. Whether you're after a classic style or a bold colour, this sporty-luxe inspired jacket is a great thrown on piece to create an effortless finish to your look. Opt for a classic khaki hue to be bang on the colour trends, rock an autumnal burgundy to fit in with the season or go all out there with an embroidered design. The go to places to shop for bombers include ASOS and NewLook.

The Leather Jacket:
One that has been a staple piece within my wardrobe the past few years and one that never seem's to go out of fashion is the classic leather jacket. Not only is it a great all year round jacket to have, but it's also a good piece to have throughout the Autumn period. Whether you stick to faux leather or real leather, you'll probably go for the classic black look that is easy to pair with absolutely everything. You'll have no problems styling this jacket. But if you fancy something different, then perhaps a pink one is calling your name or maybe even a stone nude to keep things neutral. The go to places for good quality leather jackets that are going to last include Topshop and ASOS.

The Utility Jacket:
The military/utility trend is back this Autumn! Apart from the bomber jacket taking inspiration from this trend, the other jacket with hints of military vibes is known as the Utility/Military jacket. This season you'll see this jacket supporting a light tan/stone colour or the popular khaki colour that relates well to what this trend is about and embroidery features of either the floral or badge kind. When styling this, stick to basic pieces to keep the jacket being the main feature of your look. Or if you want to keep your whole look basic, pick a plain jacket and style it into your outfit with other key pieces. The best places to shop for this jacket include New Look and ASOS.

The Mac/Trench:
A classic staple that you're going to want in your wardrobe is a Mac/Trench. This timeless piece is one of my latest investments. With an easy fit and appearance, a range of colour choices and the opportunity to work with so many looks, the Mac/Trench is one to suit all. Whether you want to pair it with your everyday look's, such as a basic t-shirt and your favourite pair of jeans, or you want to dress it up for a work meeting or a lunch date with the girls, as well as slipping it on over your party outfit for the night, this jacket is a must have piece. Although expect to pay a little more for this style of jacket, but you'll want to since it is going to last you a really long time. This piece never goes out of fashion. The go to place in my opinion to get a good quality jacket is ASOS (surprise, surprise! But they have a wide selection).
