5 Valentines Inspired Lip Picks

It's only just over a week away now until it's Valentine's day. The day of love where people share their love for that favourite person with cute gifts or nights out. It's also the perfect chance if you're single to up your self care and love by taking some time out for you. The fun doesn't have to stop just because you're single, you can happily have a galentines day or spend some much needed time with your family. Whatever you plan on doing, I've got 5 valentines inspired lip picks that you can opt for on this love enthused day. Think rosy pinks and classic reds, there's something for everyone in this post.
Starting with the girl who wants to wear something comfortable yet bold on Valentines day, we have this gorgeous NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Prague. The formula of these lip creams are one of the best I've ever tried. They're so comfortable and never leave you with that stinky dry feeling that other liquid lipsticks can create. Prague is a very pigmented shade because it is so bold. It is more of a fuschia pink than a rosy pink. They also last a decent amount of time on the lips and this shade in particular does not budge when eating or drinking, so if you plan on going for drinks or a meal, Prague has you covered.
The next is for the girl who wants to go with that true classic valentines lip. The red lip is the most reached for option at Valentines because it sums up exactly what love is about. I actually don't own that many true classic reds in my collection, but one I do really like is from Rimmel London's Kate Moss Collection in 01. This lipstick is so creamy and delicate on the lips. If you're after something more nourishing then this is the perfect option. It sits so perfectly on the lips with no issues. It's also a very pigmented lipstick, literally one application goes far with this lipstick. If you're feeling daring and sexy, then hit up the Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in 01.
Moving onto the girl who wants something a little different from the typical classic red and wants to have a more of a girly vibe to their lip pick, then this Borjois Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Don't Pink Of It is a great go to. This pink sways more to the peachy side of the pink shade spectrum. It's a very pigmented lip shade that also doesn't need constant application. Whilst this isn't the most comfortable liquid lipstick, it still is a really good quality lipstick that lasts a long time on the lips. It's also a really flattering shade and perfect for the spring season that is coming up, so you can get more than one wear out of it.
This next one is for the girl who wants to keep the lips quite simple yet kissable and perhaps focus more on the eye look they have created, the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss in the shade Plums Up is perfect. The great thing about these lip glosses and what gives them the stand out name is that they help plump your lips. If you're someone who wants a more fuller looking lip or wants to plump them up a little more to make them look bigger, then these glosses will help you do exactly that. Plums Up has a slight rosy pinky tint to it, which will just add a little splash of colour to your natural lip colour. These glosses do not have that disgusting sticky feeling either, so you can be a 100% comfortable when wearing these.
And the final pick is for the girl who wants that gorgeous rosy pink shade that will flatter all skin types, Mac's Brave lipstick has been a firm favourite in my lip collection for a good few years now. It's the perfect option for when you want a grown up everyday rosy pink, that is like your lips but better. This is a satin finish lipstick, which basically mean's it is semi matte. Instead of having that complete matte finish, it has a slight creamy look to it, but still with an almost matte look to it. Because of this, Brave isn't drying at all and is so comfortable to wear. I know for sure if you got this lipstick, you will absolutely fall in love with it! It's definitely going to be my go to Valentine's lip shade.
