I thought this bath bomb was just the cutest looking thing and was a great way to ease in into the winter season with the snow white bear so fitting for christmas! This product is actually from the Christmas collection which means it is limited edition. So if you want to try this yourself, then I would recommend purchasing it within the next couple of months. I love the smell of vanilla, so I just know I will love the smell of this bath bomb when it is in my bath. Also I love how it has cocoa butter in it because it means it will work wonders on my skin and leave it feeling smooth. The price of this bath bomb is super affordable and great for those on a budget, just like myself!

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.95:

Again another really affordable product! I love having bubble baths, so I know I am going to love this bubble bar. I love the colours and I just know it is going to smell amazing once crumbled up in the water. This product is also from the Christmas collection, which means this will be great to use the nearer we get to Christmas to boost the spirit. I know I will probably get 2/3 uses out of this which is also a bonus as it doesn't all go to waste and you can experience the product multiple times. I honestly cannot wait to use this! 

Kate Spade New York by Nails Inc - Up Town Glamour:

This polish was a freebie in a magazine about two years ago, I absolutely love freebies and especially when they happen to be free beauty products. This glamour metallic gold shade also known as 'Up Town Glamour' is perfect for the winter and Christmas season! I believe it would be great for when you're heading out for drinks with friends or to a Christmas party and want to add an extra touch of glamour to your overall look. The colour isn't too over powering as it is more of subtle metallic colour and needs around two-three coats to avoid any lines appearing on the nails. Overall, a great shade for Christmas time!

Barry M do so many different shades and I find them to be affordable yet also are a great quality. Vintage Violet is a dark purple that stays away from berry or burgundy. It is more of a traditional colour which gives it that name of 'vintage'. I think this shade just screams autumn! Although when I first used this polish, I was surprised at how dark it was actually going to be and it did take a couple of days for the colour to grow on me. But as a whole, I love this shade and think it's great for bringing darker colours into your collection for the autumn time!

Therefore, I have decided to put together a kind of guide to making sure you stay motivated when you are blogging or a blogger. These are some of the things that I find useful in times of no motivation and I believe help me to get my blogging head back on. I hope that you can also benefit from them.

Stay Organised:

The first tip I would recommend is staying organised! Even if you aren't the most organised person and struggle to maintain a clear path way, there are a number of different things you can do to keep organised. For example, a great thing to do is set yourself a schedule. This can be done by picking certain days and times to upload new posts to your blog. If you find you have enough time to blog every other day or a few times a week, then set that as your schedule and let your readers know just when exactly you're going to be updating each week. This way it will also help to keep your readers in the know of when to expect new content from you. Or if you're someone who can only upload once or twice a week, then pick your days and times, then you will have a clear idea of when you need to upload that week. 

Another tip I would suggest is planning your posts. Obviously, you don't have to go into full detail but making sure you know what it is that you're going to be writing about, what pictures you might be taking and how you're going to set out your content is great for staying organised. Therefore, you will have a clear idea of what it is exactly you're doing for this weeks post(s) and won't have to worry about certain parts of your next post(s).

Also if you find it hard to stay organised, then setting yourself some attainable goals might be the solution to you. Setting goals helps to keep you motivated because you will have a certain path to follow to achieve that goal. Examples of goals you could set yourself to keep motivated when blogging could be, taking pictures of the new product that you're going to be reviewing in your new post or writing at least three paragraphs a day to bring together your blog post for that week. Whatever goal, whether it is big or small, can be helpful to keeping motivation high and making it easier for you to enjoy your hobby the best possible way. 

Remembering:

Whether you're a popular blogger or just starting out in the community, using feedback you have received on your blog can be a hugely motivating! Reading back old comments you have recieved on posts may inspire you to write a similar themed post or can boost you back into blogging by hearing the positive things people have to say about your blog or just by being reminded that people have took the time out to comment on the content you've written might be enough to get your motivation back! Or maybe you don't have many comments to look back on since you're just starting out, (this isn't a bad thing, sometimes things take time and as long as you're enjoying writing then there isn't no rush) looking at your views and seeing that people do actually read your blog can be just as much of a boost as if you were getting hundreds of comments! You also might look back on those who have shared your posts or blog with others. It also suggests they take the time to share what they have found interesting to other people and want others to also experience it too! There is also those who may keep their blog anonymous to the outside world, but maybe tell those who you are close to like your family and friends. They can share their own feedback and opinions on your blog which will help you to feel motivated to get writing more and working hard at your hobby! 

Also another great tip is to reflect back on why you even began blogging in the first place. Why did you decide to create a blog and what impact did you want it to have on other people. This can help you to gain that motivation back and make you remember why you started it all in the first place. Also if you have been doing it for a long time, go back and see just how far you have come. See how much you have grown as a person, how you've gained loyal readers or how much your content/layout has improved since the early days. By doing this, you'll remember just why you wanted to create a blog and how much fun you have had with doing so. Therefore, this will push you to continue on!

Enjoy Blogging:

I believe this is one of the most important things when it comes to blogging! Making sure you're enjoying it and are doing it because you want to is essential. Blog for you. There's nothing worse than just 'feeling' like you have to blog for the sake of it or just to please other people. Of course creating interesting and exciting content is essential to bringing in readers and keeping them there, but if you're really not enjoying the whole process, then what is the point of doing something you're not loving?

Having said this, if you're feeling bad about your blog, maybe you feel like it's not going where you want it to go or you're not pleased with what you're creating, then it is absolutely fine to stop and take a break. There is no problem with doing that. A break can be great for you to find your feet again, not have to feel pressured to write or stand out in the blogesphere and it might even make you miss the whole 'blogging' thing. If you don't feel like writing for a week or more, then don't force yourself to. 

Do not worry about wanting to take a break from it all or wanting to start over. There is nothing wrong with trying again or taking some time away from it. It can be healthy and good to refresh again at a later date. After all blogging can be a great hobby and there's nothing wrong with going away for a little while. Also don't worry about what others may think if you do this or worry that readers will go away, if they really are loyal readers, then they will stay and be excited for new content. Blogging might come across as being serious and hard work, but even then it is still fun and something to be enjoyed by the blogger and the readers. 

Accept Failure:

This next tip can be used for when you have decided to take a break with blogging or you feel like your blog is failing. This obviously can be for a number of reasons and it's completely fine to feel like this once in a while. We all have days when we feel bad about ourselves and the things we do. However, if you do feel like your blog is failing or you're unsure of whether to give up completely, my advice is don't. If it is honestly something you're enjoying and you like having it as a hobby, then accept the failure you're going through. It will help you to set yourself some goals of where you want to be and make you work harder, as a result increasing your motivation immediately. 

When you are new to blogging (just like myself), I have learnt that not letting your failures or lack of success get to you is so important. Don't give up on the first hurdle. The blogging community is so popular and if you're only blogging to become popular, successful and earn money, then you are in it for the wrong reasons. It should be about enjoying the whole experience, the writing part, taking photos, exploring other blogs, communicating with other bloggers and welcoming any opportunities however big or small! My advice is to learn from your mistakes and the things you haven't been as achievable as you would have like to be. Re-write your posts, re-promote your posts to fellow bloggers or readers, learn new tips and tricks of getting your blog out there and improving your blog as a whole. If you really want your blog to work and impact readers, then don't give up on the first hurdle. Use your goals and failures to motivate you to get to where you want to be! 

Within time, however long it may be, if you want something and are willing to work hard for it, then it will happen.

I really hope this post has helped any bloggers out there or maybe someone who is struggling to gain any form of motivation back in a hobby, job, school, college, university or just in life in general. These are just some of the things that I find useful and I thought I would share them with you.

Dislikes:

• Personally for me I was expecting more of a dewy look from this foundation. However as I mentioned before, it is more of a natural foundation rather than a dewy glowing look. I definitely believe it needs more a dewy finish to it for me to be completely sold.
• Some others may want more of a higher coverage which means this foundation might not be for you as it creates more of a light natural look. But you can easily build it up to a medium coverage if that is what you are after.
• The stay time lasts for around 5/6 hours. On more blemished areas on my face, I noticed it wearing off a lot quicker than that, but it probably depends on what primers or powders are used to help set the foundation in place. 
• There's only six shades to choose from and can be an issue for those who's skin doesn't match the ones available. 

I definitely think I will be repurchasing this product when it starts to run out. It's probably the only foundation that I have tried in the last few years which hasn't clung to any dry areas of my face and made it look 'cakey'. It is great for creating a natural, fresh and healthy look. It is easy to blend and apply to the face with a build able coverage. I think it is great for everyday wear and for more natural make-up looks. 

In my opinion, I would have liked more of a dewy glow finish to the skin with this product and a longer staying time as I did notice it wearing on some parts of my skin. Also I wouldn't recommend this to those who are after higher coverage foundations, as this is definitely more suited to those who want a lighter coverage and more natural finish to the face. As well, there is not a lot of choice of shades so it might be hard for some people to find a shade to suit them perfectly!

Overall, I would definitely go back to buy this product and keep it as a necessity in my make-up collection. I am so pleased that is one of the first foundations I have tried that hasn't enhanced dry areas of my skin and hasn't made it look heavy either. It's a great natural and easy to wear foundation that helps your skin to look healthy. I would wear this foundation all year round, as it is so suited to all seasons. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially those with dry skin.

Chelsea Boots:

Chelsea boots are a must have staple piece for your autumn/winter wardrobe. They have been popular the past few seasons and that hasn't changed this time round. They are a great versatile piece, that can be paired with a number of different outfits and can be took from day to night. There is a number of different textures and styles out there to suit everybody, whether you are after some flat leather Chelsea boots for a more casual look or want to throw in a bit of seventies into your look with some suede block heeled Chelsea boots. Prices vary depending on where you shop, but if you are after some that will last you a long time and are a great quality, then definitely going to somewhere like Topshop or River Island is advisable. 

Lace-up is here to stay for autumn/winter. It was really popular throughout spring/summer and it will still continue to be on trend through the colder months. Even though lace-up is probably not the most weather practical, they can still be worn on those days when the weather is not to bad and you want add an extra touch to your outfits with some cute lace-up shoes. Flat pointed lace-up these shoes are really versatile and can be great for dressing up even the most basic of casual outfits. I also think if you pair them with a dress or skirt and tights during this time of year, they will also look just as good. On the other hand, you have lace-up heels that have also been very popular for a while now. They can be a great staple piece to produce a feminine touch to any look. Lace-up heels are great for going on nights out paring them with dresses, skirts, jeans or playsuits/jumpsuits. Another great versatile shoe perfect for an evening event or more dressy occasions.
Knee High Boots:

Knee high boots are another shoe that has been popular the past couple of autumn/winter seasons. I feel like this style of boot is one that is definitely something that you either love or hate. For me personally, I am very short so I would find this style incredibly hard to pull off. However, I think if paired with the right outfit and if you find the right length and proportion for you, then they could work really well and you would find them easier to pull off. I think knee high boots work best in outfits that consist of a dress or a knitted jumper and skirt.
Peep-toe: 

Again maybe not so weather appropriate, but for evening events or better weather days, peep-toe style shoes are a great investment piece. They are a great style or additional feature for transitioning from season to season. If you purchased a pair now, you could even wear them straight through into the next spring/summer season, which I believe is a bonus. I personally find them really flattering, they add an extra detail to a plain boot or heel, as well as creating an effortless chic look to any outfit. They bring something a little extra to the average basic outfit and help to bring a more relaxed feel to an evening look.
Pointed Loafers: 
Another popular piece back for another season and that has been inspired by menswear.There are many colours, prints, fabrics and design options out there on the high street, as well as amongst online retailers. I also find that these type of shoes are very affordable and you can find some really cheap ones in high street stores that are of great quality. Pointed loafers or flats are great for creating more comfortable and classic everyday looks. I believe that they can be paired with so much, from basic everyday outfits to give an additional feature to a more dressy-casual outfit if paired with a day-dress or skirt.

1. When did you begin loving make-up? 
I can always remember putting on a few bits of make-up when I was younger and off to the school disco or to a family party. It wasn't anything major and back then it probably made me look worse due to not having any clue about make-up. We can all relate to the experience of being young and thinking that bright blue eye-shadow looked great across our lid. However wrong were we?
I didn't start to wear make-up properly till I was around thirteen, which seem's weird to think that was only five years ago? It feel's like I have been wearing make-up a lot longer than that. The only make-up I can remember applying was foundation or a powder and a light touching of mascara on my eyelashes. To me now that just sound's so minimal and you would never see me leaving the house to go out anywhere with that amount of make-up on! When I was around fifteen, I think my love of make-up started then and I even started to consider a career in this field. Unfortunately that didn't work out for me. But I still enjoy applying make-up and love trying out new products despite what happened.

2. How do you feel without make-up?
I'm just going to be honest here. I actually feel so gross and horrible without it. I hate looking in the mirror when I haven't got any make-up on. It literally makes me feel so insecure. I am so grateful for whoever made make-up haha! I am not very confident when it comes to my appearence or confident at all when it comes to anything really! But I would say the times that I do feel comfortable without wearing make-up are when I am chilling at home, at my boyfriends or even around close friends. Sometimes I love no make-up days as it just feel's so good to give your skin a break. But then again, I love knowing that if I have something planned for the day which involves me going out, I can apply my make-up and it gives me a slight boost in my confidence, even if it is only a natural look.

3. What do you love about make-up? 
I love how much positivity and enjoyment it can bring to people. For me personally, I think it really helps to bring out some of my features and make me feel better about myself. For someone with low self-esteem, I really struggle to find anything good about myself. But when I have make-up on I do feel slightly better about myself. It's mad how something so little can make such a difference to your confidence. Also I love how you can create so many different looks to suit a particular theme or event that you are going to and that you can also experiment with different products to find one what suits you best. Lipsticks or highlighters are my favourite thing about make-up for sure!!!

4. Three holy grail items - I don't have the biggest or most expensive make-up collection, so this question is fairly easy for me to answer.

Naked Urban Decay Basics Palette - I love this palette. It's small and compact so you can take it out with you or put it in your travel make-up when going away. You can easily create different eye make-up looks from the palette simply just by using the six shades included. Also you can use the shade 'venus' as a highlighter to highlight your brow bone or the inner-corner of your eyes.

Maybelline New York The Colossal Go Extreme Volum Mascara - I mentioned this product in my first haul here. I really believe this is my holy grail mascara. I cannot fault it. I have tried other high end mascara's for double the price and I believe they do not perform as well as this one from Maybelline. It makes my eyelashes appear long and feathery. They also do not clump together which is a major bonus!!

Mac Snob Lipstick - The reason why I would say this is one of my holy grail items is because this was the first ever Mac lipstick I ever bought. I feel that it's a shade that I never get bored of and I think I will always love. In my opinion, any Mac lipstick is definitely a holy grail item because of the affordability compared with other high end lipsticks, the finish is great and they are long lasting.

I mean being short isn't all bad. It does have it advantages like slipping into gaps when in large crowds or never having to worry about looking 'too tall' in heels. But of course, there are many problems that come along with being short.I thought I would share a light hearted post that maybe some of you fellow petite girls can also relate to!

• Staying in the shallow end in swimming pools - Every time I go swimming without fail, I am always the one who has to stay in the shallow end in the pool on my lonesome. If I literally go any further than the shallow end, I literally cannot touch the bottom of the pool and I start to panic. Or I end up having someone carry me over to the deep end to join everyone else looking like I'm in capable of actually swimming or a child hanging onto someone's neck. It's pretty embarrassing to say the least.

• Being called 'cute' - Now some people may disagree and think why would being complimented be a problem? But short people will be able to relate to this. It's not that we don't appreciate your comment. It's just that in some circumstances that it can come across as quite patronising even if the person calling you 'cute' doesn't mean it in that particular way. It can make short people feel like they're being belittled or that you're pointing out just how small they are. Basically it can make us feel like we're not being taken seriously!
